How long does Small Claims Court take?
Simple cases settle in 2-3 months. Contested cases going to trial take 6-12 months. Settlement conferences resolve many cases and are mandatory before trial.
What costs can I recover if I win?
Filing fees, service costs, and portion of legal fees (up to 15% of claim). Interest on judgment also awarded. We pursue full cost recovery.
Can I sue someone who lives in another province?
