Prepare for your Landlord and Tenant Board hearing. What to bring, how to present evidence, and what to expect.
Bring: lease agreement, all relevant notices, photos/videos, repair requests and responses, payment records, text/email communications, witness contact info, and documents organized chronologically.
Most are video conferences. Adjudicator identifies parties, explains procedure. Applicant presents first, then respondent. Each can question the other. Decisions may be immediate or reserved.
Current processing times vary 3-12 months depending on application type and urgency. We work to move your case forward as efficiently as possible.
You can file a motion to enforce the order or contact the Sheriff for eviction enforcement. Continued violations may result in contempt proceedings or additional compensation.
