No. Owing rent does not give a landlord the right to lock you out. They must follow the proper LTB eviction process, which includes a hearing and a Sheriff-enforced order.
What if the landlord says I abandoned the unit?
A landlord can only treat a unit as abandoned under specific legal circumstances. If you're still living there and they lock you out, it's illegal regardless of what they claim.
